So, as a "back up" plan, I had a profile up on Yahoo! Personals. Until I received a response from a 64 year old lawyer that included the type of car he drove, his income and the fact he was just looking for a "companion". At that point I decided my "back up" plan was a bust and deleted my profile. And, I'm back at point "A" just trying to get to point "B". But, the thing is, point "B" seems to end at an alter, and truth be told... I'm not even in the church parking lot.
I'm not looking for a "bad" boy, or the athlete. I've dated both of those types-and while I fully support athletics and motorcycles, I'd like to be a man's #1 for once. And despite my small obsession with designer labels-I am a low maintenance kind of chick that's usually clad in GAP jeans that I've wearing since high school-true story and t-shirts. I'd love to meet a man-guys under 26 need not apply here please that will/can see me for and/or despite the following factors:
1. I'm not one to talk about my feelings or how I feel-getting me to talk is "like pulling teeth". It's been said by several people (exes included). So, I won't bore you with "I feel blah blah blah." or "How does that make you feel?" BS talk.
2. I'm cynical. Yes, I'm 25, but I'm pretty sure I was born cynical.
3. I cry when I'm tired, frustrated or too mad to yell.
4. I have a sarcastic sense of humor. Love it or hate it. It gets me through the day.
5. I'm reliable.
6. I'm trustworthy.
7. While, yes I am cynical I do enjoy laughing until I am doubled over saying "Oh! It hurts!" Which I have been known to do.
8. Going on long drives is my kind of therapy.
9. I'm a better listener than talker.
and 10. I don't wear my feelings/heart on my sleeve.
I'm easy to please, and I'm a people pleaser.... So, how is that I've yet to just not meet the "one"? Maybe I'm just looking too hard? Hopefully as time goes on, I'll find... REAL LOVE...
